How credits work
- Transcription uses 1 credit per minute of audio, billed by the second, with a minimum of 10 seconds per recording.
- Reading aloud uses 6 credits per minute of speech with standard voices and 20 with premium voices, billed by the second, with a minimum of 5 seconds.
- VoText shows the cost before anything starts. If a job fails or you cancel it, nothing is charged.
- Each month’s plan credits are valid for 12 months from the day they are added. Unused credits carry over, and they stay yours until then even if you cancel. The app shows how many expire next, and when.
- Plan credits that expire soonest are used first, then starter and top-up credits.
- Starter credits are given once per iPhone or iPad, and they do not expire.
