When can I get VoText?

VoText is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone and iPad. This page will link to it on launch day.

Which languages does VoText understand?

More than 30, including English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Turkish, German and Japanese. You do not need to pick one: VoText detects the language, even when people switch mid-conversation.

Do I need an account?

No. You can use VoText without signing up. Signing in with Apple or an email code keeps your credits when you change phones or reinstall.

Where are my recordings stored?

On your iPhone or iPad. To transcribe or read aloud, the audio or text is sent to one of the AI services named in the app, and our servers delete it within 24 hours.

Which AI services process my audio?

Soniox, xAI, ElevenLabs, Google, and Groq, depending on the language and the task. The app lists them and asks for your permission before anything is sent. See what each one receives.

What is a credit?

One credit is one minute of transcription. Reading aloud uses 6 credits a minute with standard voices and 20 with premium voices. If a job fails, nothing is charged.

Do credits expire?

Your monthly plan credits stay yours for 12 months, so unused credits carry over while you are subscribed. Credits that expire soonest are used first, and if you cancel, the ones you have stay until their dates. Top-up credits never expire.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so you cancel them in your iPhone settings. Here is how.
